The event will be held on Saturday, 18 January 2025, from 11:00 to 12:30 at Teatro Palladio during Vicenzaoro January. Titled “PORTRAITS: The Anthropology of Body and Ornament”, it will explore jewellery as a cultural expression and tool for self-expression, innovation, and identity. The discussion will examine how body adornment has influenced collections and transformed the way jewellery is worn, bridging past, present, and future perspectives.

The event is structured into thematic chapters, each presented by an expert, providing a focused exploration of key elements such as history, design, innovation, storytelling, and strategy, offering a holistic view on the evolution of jewellery. This division into chapters is part of a new format aimed at emphasising communication as storytelling, creating a more engaging and insightful experience.
The panel features experts across multiple disciplines, including Amanda Triossi (Chapter History: "The Male Jewellery Renaissance"), Richard Wu (Chapter Design: "Cultural Osmosis"), Damiano Zito (Chapter Innovation: "Revolutionising Jewellery: Additive Manufacturing & Sustainability"), Livia Lazzari (Chapter Storytelling: "A Wild Journey to Imperfect Beauty"), and Paola De Luca (Chapter Vision & Strategy: "Strategy & The Vision Forward") presenting Fabrizio Raggi. Each speaker brings unique insights on history, design, innovation, and strategy, offering a comprehensive view of jewellery's ongoing transformation.
Fabrizio Raggi, actor, director, and acting coach, will introduce the event. Trained in theatre and film, he has collaborated with renowned directors across theatre, cinema, and television. Currently, he teaches acting and heads film tourism development in San Marino.
Amanda Triossi, a jewellery historian and expert, has held leadership roles at Sotheby’s and Bulgari. She founded the 'Understanding Jewellery' course and was instrumental in creating Bulgari's corporate historical archives and heritage collection. She continues to write, lecture, and consult internationally.
Damiano Zito, CEO of Progold S.p.A., pioneers additive manufacturing in precious metals. His leadership in metallurgical advancements and industry standards has made him a key figure in jewellery innovation, holding leadership roles in Italian and European standardisation bodies.
Richard Wu, a Chinese art jewellery designer, combines tradition and modernity. Originally trained in jade carving, he transitioned to conceptual jewellery, founding his Shenzhen-based brand, Richard Wu Jewelry, which emphasises sustainability and minimalist gemstone use.
Livia Lazzari, founder of Voodoo Jewels, challenges conventional luxury by celebrating imperfection in her designs. Her Rome-based brand explores themes of self-expression and identity while she also teaches jewellery design at IED Rome.
Paola De Luca, Founder and Creative Director of Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting, will present the event's strategic vision, focusing on jewellery's role in cultural storytelling and future design directions.
