The Custodian is a romantic, an historian and archivist, an eclectic and playful collector. He/she is a creature of the present time, synthetic, pragmatic and a planner. The result of a “supersonic anthropology” that seems to have re-interpreted the Darwinist concepts of evolution and conservation, adapting to the global “virtual-labyrinth” full of diversions and probabilities. Preserving does have to be associated with conserving: it is contributing to the evolution of humanity. Crowd-sourcing, Co-sharing, Exchanging knowledge, or properties, is the new wealth.

Communities are consolidating centuries of memories, and stories are treasures for future reference and development. The Up-cycle movement in art, architecture, and fashion, recuperating old and antique objects, is driving the archival process. Antiquities and antique markets, replicas and Museums were never as popular as they are now. Estate Jewellery shows have increased in the last couple of years. As mass production has saturated the market, original antiques can never be reproduced.
