Sustainable Harmony - The Digital Modernist
The Digital Modernist is shaping Life’s value by balancing his/her life with technology, by choosing a healthier lifestyle, selecting an intelligent work place, and moving to a better environment to strive for a sustainable future. Different styles can be characterised as Digital Modernist design, but they share certain underlying principles: a preference for abstraction; use of high and the latest technologies; experimental approach; multi-functional and comfortable; and a belief that design and technology can transform society.
The new mode from the previous seasons is the entrance of a new Maximalism, just not in the sense of being extremely decorative and opulent as a reaction to Minimalism, rather a Re-Evolution. “Less is still more,” yet the sophisticated Digital Modernist embraces Haute-Design. Sculptural shapes and silhouettes, technologically designed with hi-tech textiles, laser cutting techniques, and experimental approaches, are reshaping the visual codes.
